Micro Focus is seeking a experienced engineer with very strong RIA development skills; a person able to use their diverse experience across a wide range of technologies to help build the next generation of Micro Focus applications. Is able to work effectively in a Scrum environment and turn product visions into reality. Working side by side with the product architect to create well-designed, high performing solutions from complex, sometimes ambiguous, requirements is an important start; however, we need someone interested in helping to develop the product vision as well. This is a critical role in ensuring we successfully launch a new product that takes Micro Focus in a completely new direction.

The right person has experience
• Operating as a key member of a high performing Agile team; Scrum highly desired
• Thinking creatively as well as identifying and demonstrating innovative solutions
• Communicating effectively and collaboratively across all levels of the organization, especially product management, marketing, and development groups
• Developing highly scalable, high performing, interactive, enterprise level web applications
• Working seamlessly across all layers of the application from back-end databases and SDK through to the RIA web UI
• Effectively employing an extensive knowledge of REST and Java technologies and strong command of web standards, CSS based-design, and browser technologies.
• Defining development standards for object-oriented practices and working with the team to implement properly
• Developing / enhancing enterprise multi-tier web applications
• Analyzing and tuning applications for performance in highly complex systems
• With build automation, continuous integration, automated testing and software quality
