Adjunct Game Art & Production Professor

Drexel University’s Digital Media Program, located in the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, is seeking adjunct faculty members for its Bachelor of Science Degree in Game Art & Production. This major is part of the Drexel Game Design initiative, a collaborative effort between the Digital Media Program in the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design and the Computer Science Department in the College of Engineering. Drexel Game Design is ranked in the top 10 game design programs in the U.S. and Canada by The Princeton Review, as reported in GamePro Magazine.

Each course runs in a 3-hour block, 1 day a week, for 10 weeks plus finals week, with a maximum of 16 students, and pays $2475 to $2640, depending on experience.

A variety of courses are available, from introductory courses through advanced studio and lecture courses at the undergraduate level, as well as courses at the graduate level.


The Digital Media Program offers undergraduate Bachelors of Science degrees in Animation & Visual Effects, Game Art & Production (a top ten program ranked by the Princeton Review), and Web Development & Interaction Design, as well as a Masters of Science in Digital Media. The Digital Media Program is part of the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, which offers undergraduate degree programs in Animation & Visual Effects, Architecture, Dance, Design & Merchandising, Entertainment & Arts Management, Fashion Design, Film & Video, Game Art & Production, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Music Industry, Photography, Product Design, Screenwriting & Playwriting, Television, and Web Development & Interaction Design, and masters programs in Arts Administration, Digital Media, Fashion Design, Interior Design, and Television Management. Full-time enrollment in the college is roughly 1,800 undergraduate and 200 graduate students. There are over a hundred full-time faculty members. Drexel is an urban university located in Philadelphia, with a total enrollment of 23,000 students in thirteen colleges and schools, which is ranked in the top 100 best national universities by U.S. News & World Report.
