The position of Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, and validation of the system for the production network. This individual will coordinate and implement numerous large and small scale technical projects, assisting in the creation of strategic and long term planning, and participating in a 24x7x365 on-call support rotation. This position requires knowledge of virtualization and storage administration. Additionally this position requires the ability to leverage a thorough understanding of the interactions between systems to not only troubleshoot problems, but also identify performance-tuning opportunities.

Responsibilities:
• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain all infrastructure in our production environment.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco UCS & DELL blade servers.
• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain VMware vSphere 4 infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain EMC SAN and NAS infrastructure.
• Planning and management of all IT projects.
• Maintains and coordinates servicing of all network connected servers and peripherals.
• Designs, implements and validates system and network infrastructure for the production infrastructure.
• Provides recommendations and technology-based solutions to business requirements
• Creates documentation of server systems, operational procedures, topology, and hardware / software inventory
• Troubleshoots, analyzes and resolves system and user problems.
• Rapidly deploys fixes to systems in response to newly identified stability and security threats.
• Maintain good vendor relationships.
