Project, User Experience Designer

Description

Strategic User Experience Design Expertise and Analytical Skills
• Oversee and/or participates in the Design and Delivery of compelling, elegant, pleasurable and sophisticated end-to-end user experience solutions for multiple products and platforms, from assessing and defining customer needs to delivering concepts, to prioritizing features, to presenting and evaluating prototypes, to validating user experience feedback.
Work Effectively in Diverse Team Structures
• Work closely and efficiently with a cross-functional and interdisciplinary team that includes other Designers, Developers, Project and Product Management, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and Business Partners among other team members.
• Work with these team members to help oversee and participate in making sure that the product reflects the customer's needs and goals.
• Own the user experience while participating in the product definition process with the Project Team and Business Partners.
• Confidently oversee and/or lead the following user experience design process for the team.
Oversee or participate in the Research of End Users and Competitive Products and Services
• Work with our business partners to develop a deep understanding of them, their tasks and their goals.
• Develop expert-level knowledge of competitive and complementary products for the purpose of bringing new design ideas to each project.
• Oversee or participate in the developing of the user research and user experience plans for each project, including customer visits, contextual inquiry, interviews and observation, focus groups or surveys as needed.
• Oversee or participate in the execution of these plans.
Oversee or participate in the Setting of User Experience Goals that Balance Business, Technology and End User Needs
• Working with Business Partners, End Users and the Project Team, oversee or participate in the definition of the user experience goals that balance project requirements with business, technology and end user needs.
• Recognize user experience risks as they arise and make design recommendations that take into account tradeoffs, scope creep, iterative design, phased releases.
• Maintain a passionate advocacy for end user needs.
