Art Director -Real Time & Pre Rendered

Lucid Global is seeking a highly experienced, motivated, and knowledgeable Art Director to help lead our development team in their artistic and tech-art efforts in our expanding Sarasota, FL studio. Lucid is a stable and expanding global company in an industry just starting to take off. This is a long term opportunity, and we hope the new Art Director will stay and grow with the company well into the future. 

Lucid Global is an innovator and often operates on the threshold of what is possible with existing techniques and technology. 

The ideal candidate:

• will work on the edge of innovation in the 3D stereo, real-time 3D, as well as the convergence of pre-rendered and real time technology

• must enjoy and excel at mentoring, and directing young talented artists who join our team from nearby Ringling College of Art + Design, providing skills and insight to integrate into our production workflow, and become productive members of the team

• will be responsible for leading and interacting closely with our 3D art team members, managing task flow, as well as comfortable in getting hands on in the asset development process

• will be responsible for achieving overall studio aesthetic objectives and make hiring decisions regarding the acquisition of additional talent for our rapidly expanding company
