Product Compliance Analyst III – Electronic Gaming (EGM) - Las Vegas, NV

The Product Compliance Analyst will assure that product is approved for use and compliant with applicable gaming regulations including shipment requirements. 

The ideal candidate:

  • Is experienced with Gaming Devices in the Casino environment.
  • Innovates “out of the box” thinking and actively seeks solutions.
  • Communicates well in both verbal and written discussions.
  • Works independently, as well as collaborates closely with the Technical Compliance Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
Product Concerns
  • Identify and request product requirements from the appropriate intercompany department or regulatory agency.
  • Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies and independent test labs regarding all product submissions / approvals / revocations / shipment requirements or concerns.
  • Contact regulatory staff to facilitate product and shipment approvals and understanding the urgency when responding to questions, gathering or producing additional information.
  • Keep abreast of the rules, regulations, and legislative requirements that impact the company’s products.
  • Facilitate and communicate product issues or concerns to the appropriate departments.
  • Design and implement productivity improvements within Technical Compliance as they pertain to all gaming and associated equipment.
  • Manage and create procedures and processes to ensure all product documentation is technically accurate and handled in a diplomatic fashion according to the respective jurisdiction.

Internal and External Interpersonal Relationships
  • Maintain professionalism when interacting with the Technical Compliance Department and the SHFL entertainment Organization (both domestic and international) and promote teamwork across all departments.
  • Establish and maintain on-going dialogue with the regulators and independent test laboratories to ensure good relationships.
  • Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies regarding all product notifications. Document and report issues and findings in a timely manner.

Resource Documentation / Departmental Tasks
  • Research, review, and consistently maintain reference documentation of product requirements for regulatory agencies.
  • Respond to e-mails from internal and external customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the product compliance database with 99% accuracy for product and shipment requirements in a manner in which is informational for the entire company.
  • Cross-train with other analysts within the department to provide additional support when needed.

  • Knowledge of SHFL entertainment’s products.
  • Has a general knowledge of the Gaming industry.
  • Flexibility to multi-task and perform special tasks as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Computer Equipment and Software:
  • MS Office (Outlook, Work, Excel, etc.)
  • MS SharePoint

Certification, Education and Experience: 
Certification:
  • Must have or be able to obtain a gaming card with the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Education:
  • College degree is preferred.

Experience:
  • Five (5) or more years experience in the gaming industry or other comparable highly regulated field.
