Description
Partner with product engineers, product managers, and release managers who are passionate about improving our clients’ user experience by producing world-class documentation for our web, desktop, and server 3D/GIS software products.
Responsibilities:
• Create accurate software use descriptions and thorough documentation for multiple software products
• Continuously improve the quality and structure of existing documentation
• Design and create graphic illustrations to include in documentation and website deliverables
• Deliver documentation in different formats for web and desktop usage
• Lead product documentation projects and coordinate with team members to ensure content is completed on time and project requirements are met
• Ensure customer comments and issues are resolved and incorporated into the technical documentation
• Gather information from a variety of sources within the team and throughout the company
• Work closely with software developers and product engineers in a highly interactive, creative environment
• Degree or diploma in technical writing, communications, or related field
• Three or more years of technical writing experience
• Experience designing and creating graphic illustrations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet tight schedules
• Excellent English skills
• Excellent organizational skills
Recommended Qualifications:
• GIS/3D/digital content creation industry knowledge
• Exposure to large-scale content management systems (CMS)
• Experience with web technology (HTML5, CSS)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methods
