Method Studios is currently in search of a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join its Technology team. The primary focus of this position is as an individual contributor contributing to design and development of a variety of mission critical internal software products to market across our global facilities. Candidate will possess a proven track record of successful and innovative software design and implementation. Candidate will release software through multiple product cycles while dealing with challenges such as cross-team dependencies, rapid scheduling of deliverables, and working with a global/distributed team. With a strong technical background and excellent grasp of software engineering principles, the Senior Pipeline Engineer will lead development on several studio pipeline projects and their associated development teams.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Responsible for the technical direction of software projects particularly as it relates to quality and delivery across the engineering team associated.

     Leading discussions regarding high-level design choices for the software patterns, structure, frameworks, protocols, and algorithms of the products for which they are responsible

     Partnering with production to develop toolsets that improve the quality and efficiency of the production process while maintaining a high level of engineering in those products.

     Advocating the best practices in design, modeling, coding, testing and deployment across the software and engineering teams

     Adhering to software development and deployment practices present in Method’s multi-site environment

     Interacting with multiple developers, engineers, show technical directors, and project managers in the company as well as within the industry to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development

     Evaluating emerging technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities to current toolset
