SOX COMPLIANCE ANALYST

SOX COMPLIANCE ANALYST #1635000 RESPONSIBILITIES: - In collaboration with business process owners, primarily in Finance, ensure proper documentation of all policies and procedures applicable to the key controls of significant business cycle processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory, Tax, Long Lived Assets, Payroll & Equity, and Financial Statement Close. - Identification of key controls and then developing/updating work programs for testing of these key controls. - Collaborate with SOX IT Compliance team members to understand, document, and evaluate in-scope application systems and automated application controls. - Execute work programs to test operational effectiveness of key controls using variety of approaches, including sampling, corroboration, observation, performance, etc. - Communicate to the process owners and SOX management any control deficiencies and provide recommendations for remediation. - Identifying, evaluating, documenting and monitoring the remediation of control deficiencies. - Assisting process owners to remediate any control deficiencies. - Summarizing test results at the conclusion of testing. - Assisting management with meeting coordination, follow-up, presentations and documentation. - Facilitate external auditors with performance or independent testing and coordination with process owners. Provide direct assistance, as needed (e.g. key reports testing, walkthroughs). - Assisting with SOX 302 quarterly control certification survey of process owners and process managers throughout the organization. - Identifying and sharing of best controls practices across process areas and geographies. - Exercise mature business judgment and help create a team environment - Assisting with the maintenance of consistency and quality in SOX compliance work across the organization. - Continuing to stay apprised of all new SOX compliance guidelines and interpretations. - Provide co-sourcing capabilities with respect to certain Internal Audit projects, as time and resources permit. - International travel may be required (less than 10%) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, computer science, or related field - The Compliance Analyst should have an understanding of internal control concepts and experience in applying them in various business areas/functions. - Minimum three (3) years' work experience in accounting, auditing, control assessment and/or SOX. Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred. - Knowledge of semiconductor business preferred - CPA, CIA, CISA certification is a plus - Must be proactive with proven ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously. - Good understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and the COSO framework, as well as AS5 and SEC guidance for management?s assessment of ICFR. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate attention to detail. - Be independent and thorough in examination and analysis. - Results oriented: ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization and within other geographies, and "roll-up the sleeves" in order to accomplish all necessary tasks. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Resourceful, action-orientated with the ability to get things done and overcome obstacles. - Familiarity and knowledge of ITGCs is a plus.
