VICE PRESIDENT - SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEER #1622156 The Vice President, SAE is responsible for all pre-sales activities, resources and deliverables for NVIDIA Enterprise Sales worldwide organization. We are looking for a leader of the pre-sales function who will partner with the worldwide sales, engineering, and business unit leaders to drive strong revenue growth, widespread customer acceptance and techlogy leadership of NVIDIA?s Enterprise product and solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead, develop, direct and manage the worldwide technical pre-sales activities, deliverables and resources - Develop, recruit and directly or indirectly manage all technical pre-sales staff - primarily Solution Architects (SA), System Engineers (SE), and Field Application Engineers (FAE) - Oversee comprehensive training and development program for field technical people including channel, OEM, ISV, and Service partners - Partner with PSG/Enterprise Business Units and sales leadership to close and win opportunities and to relay information critical to customer needs - Review and approve Statements of Work for key and critical customer engagements - Identify and prioritize resources and opportunities - Identify skills and technical gaps to address market requirements and overcome obstacles - Be the focal point of all technical related sales activities - Primary interface from field/customer into Engineering - Lead by example, must be able to roll up their sleeves to accomplish goals MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - 15 + years in a similar technical sales role, additional services experience a plus - 5 + years experience with semiconductor, HPC systems or graphics company (systems company preferred), - Experience with datacenter or virtualization middleware or other enterprise software is desirable. - Strong communication and matrix management skills are necessary with global experience preferred - Must have experience growing and building technical pre-sales organization in a fast paced environment - Consulting services experience is desirable - Strong knowledge of the sales process and methodologies - Bachelors Degree - Travel necessary EOE
