PROJECT AND WORKPLACE SERVICE MANAGER #1570595 Provide project management for Facility projects across our Santa Clara campus. Includes projects entailing significant workspace and building improvements. Define and direct delivery of workplace services across the campus in Santa Clara. RESPONSIBILITIES - Define and maintain broad-based project management processes to facilitate consistent and professional project delivery - In working with the Manager of Workplace Planning, define the scope of projects to ensure needs of the business are met - Define vendor selection processes and manage relationships with preferred vendors. Work with Procurement team to optimize contractual relationships - Gain agreement with end-users for project scope, schedule, and cost. Define project programs to deliver projects within these expectations - Assist in defining sustainability objectives and define requirements for each project - Develop and coordinate post-project satisfaction surveys to determine how well our services are meeting objectives - Manage third party workplace services across the campus including food service, shuttle service, Maintain a network of peer companies, vendors and organizations to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices - Maintain service delivery metrics and manage vendor performance against these metrics. Schedule regular Supplier Business Reviews to manage vendor performance - Promote disciplined project management and delivery processes - Liaise with the IT team to test and deliver appropriate technology and collaboration tools to support the workplace - Collaborate with the Environmental Health and Safety team to define ergonomic standards and appropriate applications - Passion for customer engagement and satisfaction - Promote the Real Estate function as workplace subject matter experts within NVIDIA - Build relationships with eStaff and business leaders - Collaborate with other service functions (IT, HR, Finance, Legal) - Ability to influence expectations and mitigate conflict - Willingness to challenge status quo, innovate and introduce new ideas - Understanding of differences in standards and culture across geographies and cultures - Project management and delivery processes - Space planning guidelines and standards - Industry best practices and metrics around workplace planning - Furniture systems, vendors and specifications - Collaboration tools including video-conferencing, Webex, audio-visual systems, conference room management, team areas, mobile technology, etc. - Sustainable design and energy management - Knowledge of estimating and cost associated with various system applications - Building and Fire Codes MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - 5+ years in a similar role within a multi-national corporate real estate team - 5+ years as a practicing architect or interior designer - Excellent presentation skills - Engaging communicator with ability to influence senior leadership - Keen visualization skills - Microsoft Office Suite - AutoCADD - Ability to develop and format complicated information/data into concise presentations - Ability to work within a matrix environment with cross-functional collaboration - Bachelor of Architecture, Construction Management or Interior Design - Degree in Real Estate - LEED accredited EOE
