SOFTWARE ALLIANCES MANAGER #1570526 Software Tools Alliance Managers develop strategic relationships ISV partners. Alliance Managers own the partnering strategies and relationship development with their respective partner companies. This group also aligns partner product integrations with NVIDIA's product directions. This includes driving aligned product releases and go to market strategies as well as developing, structuring and driving joint solutions and technology roadmaps. These roles include delivering and coordinating roadmaps between NVIDIA and our partners to ensure differentiation, technology adoption and enhancement with the partner's technologies. Manager is responsible for all aspects of NVIDIA's partnership with a set of key strategic, high value ISVs. The Strategic ISV Manager is responsible for identifying, planning and executing upon the entire opportunity for NVIDIA around these ISVs. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Define and own NVIDIA's partnering strategy with ISVs: quantify the opportunity, craft a strategy, define initiatives and outcomes, and orchestrate resources against it. Ability to analyze and segment different markets, and develop strategic business plans around them - Develop a deep understanding of the ISV(s), their products, their strategies, their customer value, and how they go-to-market - Working closely with technical personnel, identify areas of product synergy and customer value. Leverage this knowledge to drive the creation of product integrations, joint solutions, product roadmap alignment, and differentiation. Ensure alignment of product roadmaps and releases - Define, drive and communicate marketing positioning to NVIDIAs business units to maximize revenue potential for the NVIDIA channel and OEM's via clear differentiable messaging - Working closely with go-to-market personnel, leverage this positioning to drive the creation of customer adoption programs, joint selling or reselling initiatives, joint marketing campaigns, and other relevant business development initiatives - Become the business and virtual team lead for alliances, systems engineering, marketing and sales across these partnerships. - Must be able to influence and drive activity across different departments, both within NVIDIA and within the ISV - Develop trust-based relationships with key personnel across the ISV(s), including executive management MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - 7+ years business development/marketing experience for software/hardware products. - 2+ years working experience with a software tools company serving academic and government HPC markets. - Strong analytical, marketing, and project management skills. - Ability to navigate complex organizations, develop trust-based relationships, and drive concrete results - Understanding of applications software, their role in a customer's operations, and their relationship to NVIDIA's platforms and tools - Ability to work out results-oriented win/win plans in complex, often "co-optative" partnerships. Ability to negotiate and close a variety of partnership deals (OEM, resale, etc) - Sufficient technical expertise to recognize areas of product integration, discuss product roadmaps, and engage with product managers from both sides - Excellent communication skills are essential, since candidate must work across all major internal functional areas (engineering, sales, and marketing) and with external partners, customers, and content developers. - MS/BS in a technical area. MBA or equivalent preferred EOE
