SENIOR MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM SOFTWARE ENGINEER #1568376 NVIDIA is looking for multimedia system experts to help the design and development of connected MM systems and devices. The ideal candidate will be an experienced software engineer with good knowledge of audio / video codecs, Streaming protocols, WiFi, DRM, etc... The engineer will be involved in developing and optimizing software to optimize and improve the user experience (encoding, latency, stability, etc..) on various mobile and PC platforms. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Good understanding of the various video coding technologies and standards, such as H.264, H.265, etc. - Knowledge of video streaming protocols such as Miracast, RTP, and video over IP networks. - Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment. - Proficiency in C/C++, strong software development, optimization, and debugging skills. - Experience with Android multimedia framework is a plus. - 3+ years of experience working with video streaming technologies. - PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred EOE
