seeking a highly experienced, motivated, and knowledgeable UI/UX Designer who has
a comprehensive understanding of human-software interaction to join our dynamic
team in our Sarasota, FL studio.
BioLucid

mHealth Industry, just beginning to hit the mainstream. No prior science or
healthcare industry experience needed, but an interest in the subject matter is
important.

The ideal candidate:

Will work as a key team member of the team
and deliver outstanding quality design.
·
Will work with the Art Director and team to
define, refine and scope requirements.
Will be responsible to suggest innovative
ideas to make our product intuitive.
·
Will find solutions to complex problems.
·
Will oversee the consistency of the specs, and
the user experience of the design throughout the whole application, including
all localizations.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will:
·
Work directly
with the Art Director, establishing the look of the front-end user interface,
and additional art content to maintain a consistent visual aesthetic across all
UI assets.
·
Work closely on
concepts until architectural and usability requirements are met.
·
Work to ensure
that the end-user has a seamless and intuitive experience and that all assets
appear with a high degree of readability.
·
Must prioritize
schedule and deliver assets that support the development goals of each
milestone.
·
Generate assets
for front-end menus, icons, buttons, widgets, backgrounds, data displays,
top-down maps, etc., from concept to final polished product.
·
Have a driving
desire to make the best-looking and most intuitive user interface ever
experienced.
·
Be responsible for assisting
in achieving overall studio aesthetic objectives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
·
Degree in
Graphic Design, Illustration, or Industrial Design or equivalent experience.
3+ years of
experience working in visual media with a focus on user interface design.
Some game
industry experience.
Strong portfolio
demonstrating visual creativity with many examples that fit within the
constraints of a system design. Additionally, portfolio should contain examples
of logos and iconography.

Proficiency in
standard graphic media applications, such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
·
Knowledge of
secondary visual media applications, after effects, 3D packages, and Flash.
·
Must be concept
driven and able to come up with multiple solid ideas, pitch them to a client,
absorb feedback, re-pitch to client, and then see them through production.
·
Experience with
Unity3D, design interfaces for interactive software.
