Live Operations Manager

Gameloft, a leading international publisher and developer of digital and social games with offices in 30 countries including Europe, North America and Asia, is seeking a Live Operations Manager to join our Toronto Studio. Previous hit games such as The Oregon Trail, Modern Combat 4, Brother in Arms 2, N.O.V.A., Avatar, Dungeon Hunter, Despicable Me: Minion Rush, Assassin’s Creed, Terminator Salvation, Asphalt 8, Let’s Golf!, and Order and Chaos are just a few of the 300 games Gameloft has created since it was founded.

The Live Operations Manager is in charge of creating and maintaining the planning of in-game promotions and specific events for each game developed in the Toronto Studio. The Live Operations Manager reports to the Studio Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Play the games extensively – on a daily basis;
• Work closely with the Monetization Manager and the production team to define events and promotions strategy inside the games;
• Build comprehensive and in-depth event plans. Oversee effective implementation;• Coordinate and set up the various in-game communication tools (assets creation, push notifications, etc);
• Monitor the performance of the events and their impact on the retention and revenue of the players;
• Suggest optimizations to the game team;
• Analyze competitors’ products and events and perform bench-marking on best practices.

Qualifications:

• Passion for video games;
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication or an equivalent field;
• Master's degree is a plus;
• 1 year of professional experience in online/B2C business or media agency;
• Proficient with Excel;
• Good understanding of statistics;
• Fluent in English, French is an asset;
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and highly organized.
