Associate 3D Artist / Modeler (Temporary)

The In-sourcing department of NetherRealm seeks a talented 3D Artist / Modeler to join the team on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities:

Creating high res assets from existing concept art

Re-topography of high res assets into game resolution assets

Baking textures from high res assets to game ready resolution images

Bringing these assets into our own flavor of Unreal

Generating Unreal materials from textures created in the previous tasks.


Modeler must have the following skills:

1)      Modeling in Maya or Max

2)      Retopography texture baking in Maya, Max, Xnormal or 3DCoat

3)      Texturing and Uv mapping skills in Maya, Max, Roadkill

4)      Photoshop skills

5)      Some experience would be preferred but not required (games or entertainment)

6)      Character or creature sculpting in Zbrush would be preferred

7)      Illustration skills a plus

8)      Rigging in Maya would be a huge plus.
