AUTOMOTIVE SOFTWARE EXECUTION MANAGER

AUTOMOTIVE SOFTWARE EXECUTION MANAGER NVIDIA is looking for a technical manager to own and drive complex customer programs. Candidate can have a management background, if it includes recent deep technical involvement, or a senior engineering background, if the engineering experience includes extensive leadership and project management experience. This position is part of the Automotive software R&D department at NVIDIA. We are leading the industry in designing the next generation systems for advanced driver assistance in automotive that includes piloted parking, self parking, piloted driving, driver monitoring and other advanced autonomous driving features. Since EMs are the technical leaders for their programs, candidate should have a strong technical background and superior analysis skills. Technical areas include: graphics, multimedia, system software, CUDA and virtualization. Technical experience with ARM platforms, Linux and QNX is a plus. Technical and leadership experience in the automotive industry, specifically driver assistance is a plus. Candidate will use their technical expertise and organizational leadership to drive the delivery of high quality software embedded systems to meet customer requirements and schedules. Candidate will be responsible for the success of large programs, some dealing with millions of units shipped and multimillion dollar revenues. On the organizational side, candidate will matrix manage a team of technical leads dedicated to the program and coordinate with managers providing the program?s functional components. In this role, you will be responsible for working with program managers to develop and drive program schedules, and work with OEMs, Tier1s and other partners to oversee the entire program from design to production. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - BS or MS degree. - A lead or management role delivering a software product from a large team - 4+ years work experience - Hands on technical background; C programming and low-level driver experience a plus - Excellent communication skills - Leadership experience delivering high quality software on schedule. - Experience with Linux, Android, or other embedded operating systems a plus - Experience with ARM CPU architecture and hardware considerations (memory controllers, busses, caches, etc.) a plus.
