Web Designer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented
individual who can play a vital role in the design and layout of our websites
and our mobile applications. This
position will work in house with both the web/mobile development team and the
marketing groups to bring creative ideas to our projects. Applicants must have clear communication
skills, and the ability to interact well with others both interdepartmentally
and intradepartmentally.

Exhibit strong

Exercise great
communication skills, as well as be organized and helpful

Experience with
designing data driven applications
·
Creativity with
the look and feel for the web sites based on internal requirements
·
Comfort
structuring designs with reusable templates and modules
Professional Requirements
·
Bachelor’s degree
·
At least 3 years
of full-time website design experience
Required Technical Skills
·
Strong digital art
skills including in depth expertise with Adobe Photoshop
·
Strong knowledge
of HTML and CSS are a must (including HTML5 and CSS3)
·
Experience
integrating front end code with HTML code
·
An understanding
of user-centered design methodology, usability standards and optimization
techniques
Nice to Have Skills
·
Knowledge of
responsive design concepts
·
Experience using
compile to CSS languages like Sass or LESS
·
Any Java web
stack or Rails skills are a strong plus
·
Experience with
Javascript and jQuery framework
·
Exposure to iOS
and/or Android design
