As our Community Management Team Lead (Supervisor) (m/f/)you will be responsible for the technical and personnel management of a team within the department. You will be tasked with coaching our community managers and their moderators, analyzing and optimizing our various communication channels (forums, social media platforms) and helping to improve communication with our users on an ongoing basis.


Your job:

  • Technical and personnel management of a community management team consisting of 8+ community managers

  • Develop strategies for community management, forums, social media platforms and related projects in collaboration with our Community Management Lead

  • Report directly to the Community Management Lead

  • Recruit and develop our community managers: conduct candidate interviews and feedback meetings, and assess performance with the aim of improving efficiency and quality

  • Monitor, analyze and develop our community management based on relevant KPIs

  • Your goal: Provide millions of registered players with customer care and encourage loyalty in internal and external communities


Your profile:

  • Initial professional experience in community management

  • Experience as a team lead in community management and/or in the gaming industry or a similar industry would be a plus

  • Passionate about (online) games and the internet

  • A motivating, natural leader with outstanding communication skills

  • An open, friendly personality with a flair for good service and user-friendliness

  • Outstanding team skills, independence and reliability

  • An understanding of statistics and how to use them to optimize our online communities

  • Very good written and spoken German and English - other languages are an advantage
