2D and 3D Artist
Sulon
Technologies Inc. is a new advanced gaming technology company specializing in
an untouched market of interactive augmented and virtual reality simulation and
gaming solutions.
We are
actively looking for a passionate and enthusiastic 2D and 3D Artist to support Sulon Technologies Inc. in its plan for
ambitious growth and increasing productivity within the company. We are seeking
forward thinking, innovative designers with the ability to effectively
communicate through visuals. A perfect opportunity for a motivated,

Key
responsibilities are (but are not limited to):

Deliver
exceptional creative solutions, providing advice and expertise on
implementation and execution of creative;
·
Assist in
the design of products and packaging elements;
·
Enhance
3D CAD files into photorealistic imagery;
·
Concept,
design and develop a wide variety of brand identity and promotional materials
including logos, symbols, banners, t-shirts etc.;
·
Create
rich web graphics, icons, templates and marketing related materials;
·
Develop
creative content for blogging, webinars, presentations, whitepapers;
·
Concept,
script, storyboard, and create videos for marketing and promotional purposes;
·
Be an
expert on best in class tactics and keep abreast of competitor creative;
·
Work
alongside other departments to complete projects ensuring creative is aligned
to strategy objectives;
·
Perform
other such duties as required by the Directors, Managers and other Senior Heads;
·
Some
travel local and international travel required
Qualifications/Skills
required:
·
Degree/Diploma/Certificate
in Graphic Design, Integrated Media, Digital Media, Industrial Design,
Illustration or related field;
·
2+ years
of professional experience in 2D and 3D art development;
·
Proficient
in the use of Adobe Creative Suite for 2D and video development software (i.e. Photoshop,
Illustrator, Indesign, After Affects, Adobe Premiere Pro Editing, etc.);
·
Proficient
in the use of 3D design and animation software (i.e. 3ds Max, Maya, etc.);
·
Knowledge of static, motion, web, mobile and
video design environments;
·
Proven
ability in multiple CG techniques associated with lighting, surfacing, shading,
etc.
·
Motion capture experience considered an asset;
·
Experience in film production and VFX considered
an asset;
·
Experience with web design and development considered
an asset;
·
Knowledge of branding and marketing principles
considered an asset;
·
Strong
record of teamwork, but has the motivation and ability to work independently
with little supervision;
·
Ability
to multi-task and work effectively in a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial
environment with shifting priorities;
·
Highly
creative and able to think outside of the box;
·
Ability to
work in a high stress Start-up;
·
Passionate
about gaming and emerging technologies;
·
Passionate
about multimedia, graphic design, filming, photography and technology;
·
Portfolio
required
