Gameloft, the largest mobile-gaming development studio in Montreal, is seeking a Data Base Developer to join its R&D team.
Gameloft creates games for all digital platforms, including mobile phones, smartphones and tablets (including Apple® iOS and Android® devices), set-top boxes and connected TVs, and HTML5 browsers. Main Tasks and Responsibilities
• Program in C/C++, Python.
• Develop client/server programs for real-time processing of massive streams of incoming data to our servers.
• Develop systems to store and process terabytes of information.
• Develop data mining scripts and put in place information visualisation tools in the form of tables and graphics.
Skills
• C/C++ is essential.
• A good grasp of and marked interest in mathematics is essential.
• Working knowledge of Python scripting language.
• Mastery of SQL programming language.
• The ability to optimise code in order to make the most of available system resources.
• Knowledge of web-programming languages (HTML, CSS, AJAX, etc.) is an asset.
• Knowledge of business intelligence and data mining is an asset.
• Able to work as part of a team.
Profile
• University diploma in Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience in the development of essential and upgradeable server infrastructure.
• Good verbal and written knowledge of English.
• Able to communicate clearly, and capable of rapidly integrating a team.
• Motivated, able to take initiative, flexible, calm.
• Passionate about new technologies.
