Production Director - Cinematics

Description

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a highly organized individual with outstanding communications skills, proven experience in production, and a track record as head of production to help lead our future efforts in creating epic entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction for the production process of the cinematics team and translates the creative vision into production deliverables.
• Direct the cinematic production team, including hiring, mentoring, and developing a high performing scalable team.
  
• Partner with the cinematic leadership to deliver an epic entertainment experience that meets cost and schedule requirements.
• Vision holder and responsible for long range and project scheduling, forecasting and budgeting, priority setting, task tracking, proactive issue identification and resolution, and problem solving.
• Balance resource contention across IPs and the studio.
• Evangelize efficient processes and policies for managing the cinematic process.
• Set production goals and standards, and manages and develops metrics for financial tracking, production reporting, and internal process improvement.
• Stakeholder in studio level strategy, and provides an active voice in resolving team issues.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communications skills.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior management level role in the animation / VFX field
• Outstanding communications, project management, and relationship building skills
• Recognized ability to grow, guide, and produce in a large team size environment
• Able to work well in a team environment, and manage multiple complex projects
• Exhibited ability to manage, coach, and mentor employees at all levels
