About the Position

You are responsible for all business development related activities at Goldtooth. You are passionate about the video game industry and enjoy working with clients to build long lasting relationships. You are a strong communicator, self motivated, creative and driven to succeed. The Business Development Manager will be an integral member of our team.

Responsibilities

·      Continuously analyzes the industry and market trends in order to understand the type of business Goldtooth needs to grow and develop

·      Knows how to identify potential partners, define the value proposition and create a long-term relationship

·      Understands and analyzes Goldtooth's previous work to communicate our strengths and past achievements to potential clients

·      Has a strong track record of closing deals and solidifying lucrative contracts

·      Works closely with Creative Director and studio management to create bids and finalize contracts

·      Manages schedule of internal bids and pitches work with creative and production leads

·      Continually develops and improves relationships with existing business partners

·      Directly responsible for driving revenue for Goldtooth

Requirements

·     5-8 years of experience in the video game industry

·     Prior experience in business development and/or sales

·     Understanding of to the creative process and steps of production

·     Experience creating bids and finalizing business contracts

·     Strong communication and relationship building skills

·     Extremely self motivated and driven

·     Previous experience in a management role is an asset

·     Open to travel across North America

·     Knowledge of Adobe InDesign is an asset
