Software Developer - Analysis tools

Gameloft, the largest mobile-gaming development studio in Montreal, is seeking a Software Developer – Analysis tools to join a dynamic team dedicated to the development of tools for the business team

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Project Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing, adjusting and maintaining the code libraries, as well as advertising and promotional management tools and an API to link various databases. The candidate will take part in developing various data visualization tools and will also work on certain features of our database, which uses innovative proprietary technology and is able to process a massive amount of data in real time.

Working in collaboration with various teams (business, production, monetization, etc.) located around the world, the selected candidate must have good communication skills in French and English and must be able to manage a high volume of updates and patches for various code bases.

Requirements

·         University degree in computer science, mathematics and / or statistics

·         Fluent in Python programming and statistics

·         Knowledge of C ++ is an asset

·         Good knowledge of databases

·         Ability to create models and innovative algorithms.

·         Knowledge of intelligence and / or data mining (data mining, "machine learning") are required

·         Knowledge of some of the analysis tools math / statistics such as NumPy, pandas, Octave, SciLab, R, etc ... is an important asset

·         Ability and experience to produce rapid prototypes

·         Ability to generate stable and quality software in a production environment from experimental prototypes from one computer language to another when necessary.

·         Good spoken and written English

·         Good communication and able to integrate quickly a team, skills for teamwork

·         Motivated, able to take initiative, flexible, calm

Assets:

·         Able to work quickly and under pressure

·         Excellent organizational and communication skills across all levels of the company

·         Experience with Redis

·         Experience with SSP/DSP
