Quality Assurance Programmer

Description

Gameloft, a leading international publisher and developer of digital and social games with offices in 30 countries including Europe, North America and Asia, is seeking a QA Automation Developer to join our Toronto Studio. 

Previous hit games such as The Oregon Trail, Modern Combat 4, Brother in Arms 2, N.O.V.A., Avatar, Dungeon Hunter, Despicable Me: Minion Rush,  Assassin’s Creed, Terminator Salvation, Asphalt 8, Let’s Golf!, and Order and Chaos are just a few of the 300 games Gameloft has created since it was founded.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Programming in the relevant languages (C, C++);
  • Collaborating closely with game teams and QA teams to ensure the most efficient automated test process in game
  • Programming the tools and scripts required by other developers to implement automated testing throughout the game
  • Collaborate with remote teams to improve and expand automated testing in game.

Skills and Profile

 

  • Strong programming skills in C/C++;
  • Experience with iOS, Android, Wii, PS3, Xbox Live Arcade, PSP or DS;
  • Experience working alongside a Quality Assurance team in the video game industry
  • University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience;
  • Two or more years of programming experience;
  • Knowledge of graphical programming, image processing, form recognition
  • Organized, self-reliant and a team player;
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to program in a methodical and structured manner;
  • High interest in video games and in-depth knowledge of gaming culture;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
