Producer's Assistant

Responsibilities

 

Provide day-to-day administrative support to Associate Producer, Producer and/or Production Manager, including, but not limited to; maintaining the marketing request database and facilitating ancillary requests, answering and screening calls, maintaining production calendar, scheduling meetings and travel arrangements, assisting in the preparation of meetings and presentations, opening and distributing mail, ordering/restocking supplies, maintaining files, preparing expense reports, typing correspondence, photocopying, faxing, shipping, keeping office space and kitchen tidy, going on runs on/off lot, and supporting departmental projects.

 

Required Qualifications

 

·      Minimum 2 years administrative support experience, preferably in a 

        Production environment.

·      Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

·      Excellent database management skills.

·      Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and 

        change course of action quickly

·      Detail oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.

·      Strong organizational and follow-thru skills

·      Effective communicator, both verbally and written

·      Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible

·      Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team

·      Ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision
