The Third Floor London is looking for a Lead Pipeline TD to join our Pipeline Team. The role will involve creating and supporting tools for visualization and virtual production work on feature film, television, commercial, and immersive entertainment projects. The role is a Lead position and will include responsibility for tracking the workload and regularly communicating with the Pipeline team members.

Responsibilities:
Helping troubleshoot artist problems for the London team
Creating/Testing/Documenting new tools & workflows
Tracking and Communicating task progress with the London Pipeline team members
Adhere to all documented department procedures
Helping guide the work of junior members of the pipeline team
Work closely with the LA Pipeline team on tool developments for TTF.
Requirements:
Substantial experience working in a VFX/animation Pipeline or similar position
Experience with Python and Mel programming in Maya
Excellent knowledge of Maya, and Microsoft Windows
Familiarity with Unreal is highly desirable
Experience with version control. (SVN and/or git)
Excellent communication & documentation skills
A good understanding of the film-making process
Able to work to both long and short deadlines and multitask
Flexible and able to work in a frequently changing environment
An awareness of Virtual Production
Ability to prioritise production needs and tasks
Proven understanding of data flow and management.
Desired Additional Skills:
Shotgun experience.
Game Engine experience
Knowledge of JavaScript, DHTML, Postgres, C++.
Familiar with QT Designer
Rigging experience.
Familiarity with After Effects and Nuke.
VR/AR experience
Motion Capture experience
Familiar with Jira.
