Media Designer

Description

SCAD seeks a Media Designer to develop programs for eLearning.

In this position, you will conceptualize and create instructional media (graphics, audio, video, and interactive elements) to support online course content for eLearning. You will have the primary responsibility for the aesthetic design and functionality of online courses. Once designed, you then program the content for online use.

The ideal candidate has strong conceptual design and communication skills and a broad knowledge of web-based eLearning and other new-media applications. The candidate should have a strong competency with web authoring languages HTML, CSS, and Java Script as well as programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator After Effects, Premiere, and Dreamweaver. The ability to manage projects to successful completion, on time and on budget, is imperative, as is the ability to work well in a team environment and to effectively interface with a variety of academic constituencies.
