Role Summary

The Information Technology Manager will be the primary point of responsibility for all infrastructure operations for the LA Studio. They will be primarily responsible for planning and maintenance of all operational infrastructure. This individual will lead a small team and will be required to work cross departmentally with other technical and non-technical teams in support of the overall business strategy.

Specific Functions/Activities:

  • The Information Technology Manager will be the lead technical for all Infrastructure Operation events in the LA Studio and data center
  • This role will plan and implement all operational infrastructure for the LA Studio and data center
  • Technologies include but not limited to servers, printers, production equipment, video/audio conference systems, VPN systems, networking, lan/wan, vendor relationships and displays.
  • The Information Technology Manager will also be primarily responsible for training and building out a team of qualified IT professionals.
  • The Information Technology Manager will work closely with the facilities team as they support each other for in-office projects.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/relevant degree or a minimum of 4 years acting as a Information Technology Manager with relevant similar duties.
  • Strong technical analytical, interpersonal, influencing skills and written and verbal skills required.
  • Empathetic working philosophy with an attunement to the needs of the individuals across the organization.
  • Strong experience planning and building Windows Active Directory environments (AD, DHCP, DNS, GP, DFS, Replication, etc) and Linux infrastructure/deployments.
  • Strong knowledge of IP network troubleshooting in 10Gbe Layer 3 environments.
  • Relevant experience as primary IT infrastructure implementer for organizations of approx. 100 persons.
  • Ability to deploy and maintain complex video/audio conferencing solutions.
  • Experience building cloud infrastructure.
  • Ability to script complex tasks with language of choice (example: Python, Powershell).
  • Working knowledge building conf. management tools (Chef, Ansible, etc).
  • Familiarity with production and or creative studio environments is a plus.
  • Self-starter attitude is critical as this position interacts with all levels of the organizational user base.
