Experience Designer

Description

Experience Designers at Bully! blend artistry, storytelling, game mechanics and fun-factor to build experiences that engage our (and our client's) audiences.  And while every project is unique, emerging tech is the thread that ties much of our work together.  

We're looking for a creative designer with a penchant for producing amazing experiences with new technologies, a high attention to detail and an innovative approach to help lead the effort. 

Our team is international so the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively is extremely important - as is creative expression and a deep family/community-focus. 

Experience Designers drive the exploration of new tech, pitch and design prototypes, develop clear and complete experience/game documentation and work closely with a team of talented artists and programmers to deliver great experiences.

 Responsibilities:

  • Create innovative experiences that engage and inspire
  • Develop storylines and experience flows that immerse users in client messaging
  • Create clear, concise documentation that communicate design direction and interaction patterns
  • Cultivate an innovative, high-functioning creative environment for the entire team.
  • Communicate progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute and drive internal projects

Required Skills/Background:

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, glass-half-full type person.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5 years in Game Design or UX position
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives

Pluses:

  • Game studio or big agency experience.
  • Shipped an AAA game or high-profile emerging tech apps.
  • Certified member of the mythic creatures scout team
