Senior Marketing Specialist

The Senior Marketing Specialist is a versatile marketer responsible for supporting all marketing activities and goals. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing and works collaboratively with all other marketing personnel and employees across the business to help achieve corporate objectives. This  position calls for a creative individual who has strength in visual communications, marketing copywriting, organization, and event planning. They work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines, never sacrificing quality for quantity, and pays very close attention to the smallest details. 


Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: lead on marketing-facilitated events which includes but is not limited to; industry conferences and trade/exhibits – managing all aspects of event planning and logistics -tacking events, ensuring that event demos are developed, packaged and presented, travel and hotel accommodations, registrations, sponsorships, and more.
  • Promotional: facilitates all corporate branded promotional materials (selection, ordering, stocking/restocking), and manages the print-on-demand resource.
  • Collateral: Works as tactical liaison to the design team in keeping marketing/sales collateral updated. 
  • Marketing Campaigns: Works as tactical liaison to the design team in the creation, distribution and follow-up to marketing campaigns.  
  • Marketing Email Management: Monitors, organizes and responds to all internal and external email coming into marketing mailbox. This includes but is not limited to; providing tech support site access and tracking site users.  Identifying and contacting key personnel for product and service-related email requests (and all other requests). Follow-up to ensure all requests are responded to in a timely and sufficient manner. 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher preferred, and minimum of  5 years of Marketing Experience including event planning, graphic design, and copywriting 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Online customer outreach experience (Act-On, Constant Contact, or similar) is also a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and meet aggressive deadlines and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
