Intrepid Studios’ Ashes of Creation team is looking for a highly motivated and talented Web Platform Front End Developer to join us, here in beautiful Southern California. This role will report to the Web-Platform team and support our microservices team by developing high traffic graphical marketing websites & user focused web interfaces to ensure that we continue to deliver to our community great experiences that only Intrepid can provide! This is a great opportunity to unleash your creativity and partner with talented game veterans to craft a unique MMORPG experience that helps bring people together.

What you will accomplish:

• Scope, develop and deploy updates to ashesofcreation.com, intrepidstudios.com and other web properties based on design specs & stakeholder input.
• Collaborate with artists, producers and other developers to make sure that website updates and codebase fall in line with modern standards and best practices.
• Drive campaign tracking for marketing initiatives using Google Analytics and Tag Manager
• Aid engineering in frontend work for Intrepid Studios account systems
• Work as needed to assist other ancillary frontend development work
• Efficiently self-manage to balance working independently and with other developers
• Create and document complex systems in a clear manner for others to rely on as a reference and potentially to expand upon.

What you bring to the team:

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience working in frontend web development
• Comprehensive understanding of high traffic marketing websites
• Solid understanding of Javascript
• Experience with one or more JS frameworks such as Angular, VueJS or React.
• Experience working with backend technologies such as NodeJS
• Experience consuming API endpoints
• Ability to create web ready assets from a PSD file
• Experience with version control systems like Git or Perforce
• Experience with CSS compilers such as SCSS or LESS
• A positive, collaborative, and self-motivated mindset that works well with other developers
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related equivalent experience

Extra Awesome:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Fluent with modern, headless CMS systems
• Experience in AAA game development
• A Passion for making and playing MMO games
• Familiarity with Ashes of Creation
• A portfolio that demonstrates a keen eye for detail and the ability to create maintainable, high-quality code
