Production Manager (Remote)

Description

BRINK XR is seeking a Production Manager to help organize, support, and streamline the production processes of our team as we grow our VR & AR travel apps and company. 

In this role, you'll be responsible for planning and scheduling releases, organizing team resources to meet milestones, ensure the team's needs are being supported, helping with general day-to-day company management tasks as needs arise, and assisting in the growth of the company while working closely with the leadership team.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to working fluidly on different types of tasks from day to day as needed, comfortable with managing a small distributed team to ensure milestones and deadlines are reached, and interfacing with other companies to help facilitate company growth.

Responsibilities

Project Management

• Project milestone scheduling and team task organization.
• Management of weekly standups to ensure team is organized and on-track for milestones.
• Maintaining the team wiki as a central knowledge source so information stays consolidated and easy to access.
• Assistance with onboarding and hiring.
• Assistance with travel logistics and planning for teams going out in the field.

Communications

• Facilitating and maintaining communication with various external teams and company partners.
• Regularly checking public-facing email boxes and referring incoming emails to appropriate team members.
• Regularly checking app store pages and responding to reviews.
• Regularly checking our communities on reddit / discord.
• Helping to keep the company website up-to-date with relevant news.
• Maintaining contact with press and partners during launches and press events.

Qualifications

• Experience with Production and Project Management for a small but growing team.
• Highly organized and able to bring order to the chaos of production with a calm and level-headed approach.
• Self-managing and eager to bring their own ideas for how processes can be implemented and improved.
• Familiarity with production tracking software like Asana and Confluence.
• Comfortable working remotely within a Windows pipeline with an international remote team.
• Open to occasional international travel and the visa & health requirements that come with it:  up-to-date passport, vaccinations, etc.
• A love of the great outdoors and travel, and a desire to preserve and protect the amazing places of the world.

• Bonus:  Experience with game or visual effects production management.
• Bonus:  Basic web coding proficiency (HTML & CSS).
• Bonus:  Basic video editing proficiency (Premiere).
