Product Manager Sponsorships

Who are we hiring?
The Category Sponsorship Product Manager will define the sponsorship offerings that we sell to advertisers. They will evaluate which sponsorships will maximize revenue while also ensuring proper brand fit that advances Sphere’s equity as a leading-edge disruptor of music and entertainment that is defining the future of art, science, technology and culture. The Product Manager will define which categories we sell (ie Official 5G Partner of the Sphere or Official Cloud Provider of the Sphere or Official Edge Computing Partner of the Sphere) and what offerings we package (in venue signage, digital rights, suite sales etc). The product manager will also work with finance to develop deal evaluation criteria, pricing governance, and portfolio management (ie ensuring we only have one deal expiring per year) to maximize our sponsorship efficacy. The product manager will be responsible for building product offerings that generate more than $100M per year in Las Vegas.

What will you do?

• Product Manager roles at the Senior Manager or Director Level
• Define and develop the “products” that we’ll sell from MSG Sphere
• Act as general manager, owning the development and leadership of a “product line” within the Sphere Portfolio
• Define customer requirements and benchmark the technology and offerings that we have to sell
• Work with customer knowledge, sales and marketing teams to translate customer needs into technical requirements
• Work with our engineering, design, operations, content, production, and finance teams to define and develop our product offerings
• Work to develop aligned product roadmaps and work with our technical partners and commercial partners to get these offerings built
• Responsible for the commercial success of product offering measured in revenue, profitability, and executional excellence
• Lead teams to align on technical design, commercial model including pricing, distribution or placement, and promotion of the offering via marketing and or sales.


What do you need to succeed?

• 7-10 years of relevant work experience
• Deep interest in the intersection of technology, business, consumer behavior, and innovation
• Degree in a demanding undergraduate field (engineering, operations, economics, finance) and either an MBA or deep experience starting their own business or have general management ownership
• Demonstrated domain knowledge in media, music, entertainment, advertising, advertising technology would be preferred
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
• Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary
• Must have the ability to work independently when necessary, and use sound business judgment
