JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Model and texture characters for use in a state-of-the art , real-time 3D, console game engine.
• Model and texture additional props for characters.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to model, texture, and light low to medium poly-count characters at a HIGH level of quality.
• Must have the ability to take a drawing or written concept, translate it to 3D, and apply the appropriate textures while collaborating with other team members such as the Art Lead and Concept Artists and Animators.
• At least two years of applicable industry experience.
• Fluent knowledge of at least one major 3D package (3DS MAX, Maya, Softimage).
• Fluent knowledge of Photoshop, or similar 2D program.
• Strong traditional art skills are a plus.
DESIRED SKILLS AND PLUSES:
• Samples of 3D character work, (online, CD, DVD, or VHS format).
• Samples of texture work, raw textures and examples of texture application (flat photocopy or electronic format).
• Samples of traditional skills, sketchbook, drawings, paintings, etc.

All samples must be accompanied by a description of each, with specific information on what you were responsible for, what tools were used, etc.
