Then we have the job for you. inXile entertainment’s Sparkworkz division is looking for an extremely motivated web and system administrator to manage our entire line of web services. This includes popular websites like Linerider.com and Fantasticcontraption.com as well as web based game services for PC, Xbox, Wii, PS3 and iPhone. As a popular gaming destination, the web/system administrator is responsible in keeping millions of users satisfied. This includes ensuring the games are available and efficient to all of our users worldwide, evolving with industry standards, working with developers and artists to create new web applications and services, and quickly trouble-shooting issues as they occur.

Job Duties:
• LAMP System Configuration, Optimization, and Administration of web sites and services (mail servers, ad servers, etc.)
• Provide advice on web development best practices with a focus towards security and reliability
• Monitor and ensure 99.999% uptime of all web services
• Regularly back up both external and internal servers
• Proactively monitor and improve security and performance
• 24/7 availability for mission critical emergencies
