This position will be responsible for producing concept visuals, including sketches, color comps, storyboards, etc., to drive all visuals in LEGO Universe, a large scale AAA MMOG project.

Essential Functions:


Responsible for producing visual concept assets for a large scale MMOG project
Responsible for working with game design staff and project management to ensure concepts drive AAA quality visuals within constraints of a very specific art style

Must be an active participant in regular team meetings discussing Art related issues to productivity, process, work flow and quality

Must be an effective listener, able to resolve problems, empathic and decisive

Must take advantage of new technology features

Must participate in game playtest sessions

Position reports to Lead Concept Artist and Art Director

Abilities:


Must have extremely strong drawing and painting skills of highest competitive level in the industry
Must have a critical eye and be able to flourish in and adapt to the visual intent of the project

Must be able to receive constructive criticism and react, producing iterations as needed

Proven Oral & Written Communications Skills

Proven Organizational and Analytical skills
