JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Artists working at Motion Reality can expect to be involved in the creation of large interactive environments, props, character, weapons, and scenarios. These assets are used during complete immersive training exercises utilizing full body motion capture, 3d stereo sound, 3d stereo head mounted displays, and replica weaponry. Participants physically move about a completely virtual environment; the artists provide everything they see.
REQUIREMENTS:
Skills in 3D modeling, texturing and rigging is a must. All assets created are expected to be realistic, appealing and efficient. Typical tasks revolve around being able to building, texture, and LOD a mildly complex model within the LOD contraints of 4000/2000/1000/500/100 polys with a 12 hour turn around.
DESIRED SKILLS AND PLUSES:
Experience with oFusion, Ogre, or any gaming engines; knowledge of shaders, physics, lighting, or AI packages; and understanding of batches, polycount, and rigging.
