Calling all Experienced e-Book Designers!

Gameloft, an international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones and console, is seeking gifted Experienced Web Designers or Multimedia Designers to join their existing talent pool on creating eBooks. Qualified candidates will link up with imaginative design teams to create top selling e-Books- highly interactive application with educational and informative content including animations, videos, texts, voices, music and sounds.


The Nitty-Gritty:
• Ability to create mockup and to design innovative & interactive elements for the ebook. This includes creating documents that can be use by the artists and the engineers as reference.
• Ability to create the layouts of all the ebook pages with Dreamweaver, inDesign or similar tool.
• Good understanding of the editorial content, the digital content and the general knowledge of digital book which allows finding creative ideas on many themes.
• Very detail oriented, possess high expectations on quality for documentation and final product.
• Communicate with a team of artists and programmers to ensure creative vision is fulfilled
• Collaborate with design team to produce innovative ideas for new concepts, existing design issues and work to meet deadlines
• Effectively receive and provide constructive criticism

Must-haves/ know-how:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia or related field
• Two to five years of working experience as a web designer
• Expert knowledge with Flash, ActionScript 3.0, video editing software, Photoshop, Illustrator etc
• Ability to create eye catching and user friendly web sites
• Skilled at documenting ideas, concepts and technical designs in a format that is easy for all team members to understand
• Think creatively, work well independently and as a team player
• Ability to successfully convey your vision and motivate team members

You’ll earn brownie points if you have:
• 3+ years of design experience for cultural websites.
• Expert knowledge and working experiences on CSS, HTML, StudioMax and XML
• Experience with print design software (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Experience with post production process (After Effect)
• Experience with 3d tools (3D SMax, Poser, Maya, Sketch UP etc)
• Strong knowledge of digital book & e-book
• A love for video games, inside & out
