SUMMARY
Black Rock Studio is seeking an experienced writer to work closely with our in-house development teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with the Game Director and Design Director to develop a vision for the games storytelling style
• Prepare and pitch whole story concepts and treatments for main stories, missions, etc
• Become an integral part of all feature teams to ensure stories suit game design, art style, etc
• Collaborate with the Cinematic Feature Team to improve and design in-game storytelling features
• Write original cinematics, dialogue, and in-game text
• Review and provide feedback on any external writer’s work
• Acquire, distribute, and act on story feedback given by team members, executives, and external reviewers
• Safeguard the story through to ship, acting as stakeholder for all creative work relevant to story assets (cinemas, interactive conversations, story-relevant UI, etc)
• Represent the story team’s work to the company at large
• At times perform duties within the Design Department not necessarily limited to writing, story or narrative based work.
