Job Description:
The Producer manages and oversees the daily operations for one or more game products, and is responsible for providing overall operational direction and strategy for products. He or she is responsible for setting and maintaining the launch, update, and maintenance schedule for the game product, depending on the product phase. The Producer must coordinate the efforts of external game developers and partners and other internal departments, including Marketing, Public Relations, Customer Service, QA, Web, Analytics and Development, to ensure that product goals are met in a timely manner. He or she is responsible for understanding game trends and creating content and marketing events to promote and maximize sales of each product. The Producer will work closely with game developers and game operation team members to manage ongoing projects, distribute work assignments, and train and supervise new production staff. The Producer will report directly to the Executive Producer of SGO.

• Broad experience in different types of social, online, massively multi-player (role playing, casual, etc.) games.
• Must show understanding of game promotion via web marketing.
• Ability to analyze and understand data trends and create sales forecasts and projections.
• Proficient and avid online game player who understands both the web and game audience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, diplomacy/people skills a must.
• Must be willing and be able to work additional hours as necessary, and be willing and able to travel
• Highly creative and organized, reliable, result-oriented, disciplined person who is a team leader
