Professor of Animation - Animation Historian

Description

SCAD Savannah seeks candidates for full-time faculty positions in the animation department. Qualified candidates should have a doctoral degree or its equivalent in animation or a related field. A good portfolio and strong academic credentials are important. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate their qualifications by providing samples of written work and a video reel/CD/DVD or Web site. Knowledge of art and animation history is required for the position. The ability to teach media theory and an understanding of film practice would be an asset. College-level experience is required, and preference will be given to candidates with proven leadership skills and ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds.
