Role Summary/Purpose
This is a critical role responsible for leading interaction design and research by working with product managers, engineering, designers and users to help evolve new and existing features for new Enterprise Solutions components.
Essential Responsibilities
* Lead, manage and develop a UX team
* Create conceptual designs, user interaction models, site maps, work-flows, prototypes, interface guidelines and graphic assets
* Manage design practices, particularly as they apply to the implementation of standards for interaction, color, typography, artwork, brand alignment, and all other visual/interactive expressions of the user experience
* Create interface designs and design specs
* Build innovative designs that have a lasting impact on our brand, product and users
* Plan, design and conduct usability research and translate the findings into design improvements
* Analyze and interpret data, compile reports and present findings to product managers, engineering and clinicians
* Collaborate closely with engineering, product managers, marketing, clinicians and design teams to implement to ensure the development of a consistent and effective user experience and promote usability best practices
Qualifications/Requirements
* At least 5 years of strong experience in user-centered design
* Experience building and developing exceptional teams
* In depth knowledge of user interface design principles, human factors, user-centered design processes, software development process, and prototyping/design
* Excellent conceptual, problem-solving and communication
* Skills in building wire-frames, low and high fidelity prototypes, storyboards, and information architecture presentations
* Innate passion for improving the user experience and a desire to continually increase customer satisfaction
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
* Experience with XAML and MS Expressions Blend
* Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of time, both domestic and international
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time
* Must be willing to work in our Salt Lake City, UT facility full-time

Desired Characteristics
* A degree in human factors, human computer interaction, interaction design, information architecture, or a related field
* 5 years of Healthcare Information Technologies product management experience
* Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively across organizational levels
* Proven program leadership skills & track record of delivering commitments on time
* Demonstrated team leadership in cross-functional environment
* Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to work effectively across clinical and technical stakeholders
