SUMMARY:

Join the core technology group and serve as a technical expert on current and next generation consoles to the entire 2K label (Games, Sports and Play). Work with development teams across the globe to create AAA titles of the highest quality. Coordinate with business leadership to support the organization’s technology goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as a technical expert on current and next generation consoles to the entire 2K label
• Support individual development teams by:
o Providing engineering services
o Mentoring engineers and making technical recommendations
o Working with others to design solutions to difficult problems
o Assisting in optimization and polish before launch
• Handle high-pressure situations and be able to:
o Dive into unfamiliar codebases and quickly adapt
o Prioritize tasks in order to meet critical deadlines
o Assess performance and memory issues and make effective improvements
• Develop core technologies designed to empower individual development teams and streamline the development process
• Stay on the cutting edge as the next generation of consoles are introduced to the industry
