The person in this role will plan, perform and guide quality assurance activities that ensure the accuracy of testing. This involves testing and reporting defects, reviewing defects for accuracy, assisting with a Pre and Post testing review for all releases, maintaining the accuracy of all testing checklists. In addition, the Quality Assurance Analyst III will also be responsible for mentoring Quality Assurance Analyst I’s and II’s and fostering a strong relationship with Project Management and Development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Extract test requirements from product functional specification documents, or via discussions with software developers and project managers
· Design, implement, and maintain manual test plans
· Execute manual and automated test plans
· Enter defect reports into defect database
· Generate test reports to summarize results of a test sweep
· Assist in recreating problems reported from the field
· May maintain or assemble VGT Player Terminals
· Must be able to obtain a gaming license
· Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of test strategy documents
· May lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of QA SharePoint pages
· Assists in the definition and improvement of QA processes
· Leads and mentors Quality Assurance Analyst I and II
· Performs other duties as assigned
