Description
The Post Editor assists with the post editing of a 3D animated TV series. To conform each episode within the scheduled timeframes and budget requirements. Contribute to the maintenance of a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Ensure that problems or issues that could jeopardize quality, disrupt work flow, or impact cost and schedule objectives are reported immediately for corrective action.
Receives and edits footage from partnering overseas studios.
Works with director and producers to call and track retakes.
Working with the Supervising Director, completes all story editing in order to lock each episode for post production.
Works with department heads and artists to identify issues or problems that may affect the completion of the show, and offers solutions.
Liaisons with outside mastering and dubbing facilities. Responsible for digital files and material delivered for digital masters.
Handles screen credits.
Handles timing edits for final online delivery.
Responsible for quality control.
