Media Supervisor

General Summary

Supervises the work of the Media Services Technicians and provides production with day to day support for all data wrangling, stage & camera systems, scanning and mocap services, screenings and dailies sessions, and deliveries of media to 3rd parties.  

Essential Job Functions

• Provides the main point of contact for production for all media and data wrangling services.  

• Works with Production Technology Supervisor to manage the media services team day to day.

• Expert knowledge of services provided, including: production technology toolset for animation capture & publish, asset and sequence data structure, scanning and photogrammetry tools, motion capture volume, dailies and review tools, DCP creation, screening rooms, and digital delivery services.

• Can perform the duties of a media services technician/wrangler at time of high work volume.

• Works with Production to make sure that regular meetings in the theater, such as Dailies are meeting their expectations.

• Assists Prod Tech Supervisor in handling VIP screenings/presentations on and off site.

• Assists Post Production Supervisor and Producer in delivering media to post houses.

• Ensures that all media delivered by Laika is of the highest quality.

• Works with Prod Tech Supervisor to improve and develop the media services delivered to all departments.
