Flash Animator - Social Team

Description

High 5 Games is seeking a talented Flash Animator to join the Social Development team at our Chelsea, NYC office. Candidates should have experience creating beautiful animations (as well as special effects for objects and characters) in a way that is optimized for use on the web. This implies that animations must be carefully planned in order to minimize file size and maximize quality and performance on a wide variety of browsers and systems. This position requires a candidate with mastery of animation techniques, a wide variety of methods to accomplish them within Flash, and the wisdom to know when to use them. This position also requires experience in motion graphics and character animation within a Flash environment specializing in content created for the web. Experience with AS3 and the ability to animate programmatically using tweens are required. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and 3D software is a plus.
