DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build the next generation of user interface technology in support of Apple’s world-class designs. The CoreUI team is responsible for providing the core look and feel of application software on the Macintosh, as well as several key shared user-interface technologies. The group works closely with the Cocoa and Cocoa Touch teams, and frequently collaborates with Apple’s design and product teams to innovate in shipping imaginative new user experiences on our platforms.
Description:
The Cocoa Core User Interface team is looking for an outstanding engineer who seeks to have a major impact on the user interface technology and user experience of the Macintosh and iPhone. You will become part of a small team whose goal is to advance the state of the art in the technologies and tools needed to realize high quality user interface designs.
Candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation and packaging of advanced user interface technologies. Strong software engineering skills, intimate awareness of object-oriented design, a passion for user interface, and pride in attention to detail are expected.
