We’re seeking a qualified candidate for fulltime work in our Burbank office for storyboards and comps in the advertising & entertainment industries.
You will receive scripts from our Project Managers and work with our artist staff. You will research reference material and draw and or color storyboards and visualisations for our clients. The ideal candidate has a passion for art, films and advertising. Ability to work on a Cintiq or Wacom is preferred but not required. Ability to work well with others and meet tight deadlines is a must.
Responsibilities
> Receive written scripts and verbal descriptions from Project Managers
> Draw storyboards that show great line work, storytelling and a sense of pop culture.
> Present the storyboards to the Project Managers
> Quickly revise facial expressions and outfits to really sell the idea behind the script
> Ability to draw cute kids, people in the latest fashions. Ability to draw attractive fashionable women is a plus.
Requirements
> Passion for film, pop culture,fashion and storyboarding
> Demonstrate storyboarding,animation or comic book experience (personal or professional projects)
> Strong grasp of human anatomy, basic perspective, and staging
> Excellent work ethic and eagerness to learn
> Strong communication skills and works well under supervision
> Ability to draw in a realistic style as well as replicate other styles is important
